Rebecca McClain is an experienced communications professional, with a background in both agency and in-house public relations. She is the Director of Communications at Paxos, where she oversees corporate, policy, product and internal communications for the blockchain firm. As the regulated leader in enterprise-grade digital asset solutions, Paxos is redefining financial infrastructure to create an open, accessible economy where any asset can move at any time in a trustworthy way. She has lead the communications strategy and execution for fundraising rounds, product launches, content marketing campaigns, corporate thought leadership, social media, internal announcements and executive Capitol Hill testimony.

Prior to Paxos, Rebecca was a Director of Communications at WeWork, where she was an early member of the public relations team and helped to scale the brand's global narrative. Here, she was responsible for supporting the co-founder, developing the enterprise product communications program and launching the brand in new geographies, including Japan and China in partnership with SoftBank. Rebecca started her career at the preeminent financial and crisis communications consultancy Joele Frank, where she supported clients across industries through M&A transactions, bankruptcies, shareholder activism, investor relations and executive management changes. Rebecca graduated from the University of Pennsylvania cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English Literature.
